Start on ObjectOS Cloud
ObjectOS hosted for you, nothing to install — sign up, name your organization, create its production environment, build a first app and invite your team.
ObjectOS Cloud is ObjectOS hosted and operated for you: you work in the browser, and there is nothing to install or deploy. The Free plan is enough to build your first app. ObjectOS Cloud is in Public Preview.
Want it on your own machine instead? That is ObjectOS Community. On your own infrastructure, under a license? ObjectOS Enterprise.
1. Sign up
Start at www.objectos.ai and create your account.
2. Create your organization
Your organization is the workspace your team shares: its apps, its data and its members. Give it a name and a slug — the short identifier ObjectOS uses for it.
3. Create the production environment
An organization runs its apps in an environment. Create its production environment; that is where your first app lives. On the Free plan, production is the only environment — see Compare Editions.
4. Build your first app
Two ways, and you can use both:
- Describe it to the AI Builder — "I need to track support tickets with priority and assignee". It proposes the objects, fields and views as a change you approve before it runs.
- Install a template and start from a working app.
Either way the result is ordinary ObjectStack metadata: REST APIs, generated screens, permissions and audit come with it. See Build for everything you can add next.
5. Invite your team
Invite the people who will use the app. Only AI seats are billed: viewers and people who use apps without the in-product AI are free. See Users for roles and access, and Permissions for who sees what.
Next
- Using ObjectOS — what your team sees once they sign in.
- Connect AI Tools (MCP) — let an agent operate your app under a user's permissions.
- Compare Editions — what Free and Team each include.
Your ontology in ObjectOS
What your ontology is on ObjectOS — the core the runtime runs, the projections authored beside it, where it lives, and what it is not.
